What is the Denver Business Series?

We are Denver's premier MBA community comprised of alumni from the world's top business schools. We offer events that bring together our diverse but like-minded members for panels and speakers. Our speakers address current topics and events, best business practices, and local issues. We also host networking socials, which provide an opportunity to get to know other business professionals in an informal setting. Each event provides an excellent setting to share information and interact professionally and socially.


Who may attend Denver Business Series events?

The DBS invites member school MBA graduates. Additionally, member school MBA graduates may personally invite guests to attend DBS events. Member school representatives should notify alumni living in Colorado. If you are not getting notices regarding DBS events, update your profile to receive event notices and newsletters.


What does it cost?

There are no costs for individuals to be associated with the Denver Business Series. Each member school's Alumni Association belongs to the DBS and, through them, area alumni are included in the DBS. We are a 501 nonprofit organization. There are charges to attend our events to help defray the costs of the event (such as food, drink and venue costs). If there are charges for an event, they are listed on the event announcements and on this website.


What is the refund policy?

We have a refund and cancellation policy in place for Denver Business Series events that was devised due to the fixed costs of organizing an event. We typically place the catering order one week prior to each event, so if you have to cancel within seven days of the event, we cannot provide you with a refund. However, if an event has to be cancelled due to weather or another catastrophe by the Denver Business Series Board, then full refunds will be given to each registered guest. How are events and activities planned?

The Board of the DBS and its committees plan each event. We welcome suggestions for events, topics, and activities. You may email suggestions to events@dbseries.org or contact your school's representatives.


How can I volunteer?

We welcome volunteers. If you are a graduate of a member school and there is an area you would be interested in helping with, please either reach out to your school's representative or contact us at info@dbseries.org.

How do schools become part of the Denver Business Series?

The local leaders of the alumni associations of the top ranked national and international MBA granting schools may submit an application for their schools to become a member. There are strict criteria for acceptance as a member school. For details, please email us at info@dbseries.org


How do I get specific details on an event?

If you are a MBA graduate of one of our member schools and would like to receive notices of our events you may opt-in to our mail list. If you are not getting notices regarding DBS events, update your profile to receive event notices and newsletters.

Your school's alumni association will send you announcements of DBS events (contact your alumni association directly if you are not receiving these announcements). The invitation will provide details about each event. You can also find information about events on this website in the Events section.

We respect your privacy. Therefore we never share or sell your personal information with any third parties.
